- Check or replace the printer’s battery
- Make sure the paper supply is loaded correctly and not backwards
- Verify communication between the host device and the printer by checking the communication cable or wireless link (Bluetooth/Wi-Fi).

| Red (Error) LED on |
- Out of paper or paper door open

- Check that paper supply is installed and paper door is closed. Press FEED button to advance paper
- Check magnetic card and reswipe making sure that magnetic strip is correctly positioned
- After extended printing, the print head may be hot; printer will pause before resuming printing
- After removing the paper jam, press FEED to clear problem

| Printer power will not last the full work day |
- Battery not fully charged prior to start of work day
- Battery is old and will not accept or hold sufficient charge for full day
|
- Make sure that battery is fully charged prior to use, it is best to ensure that printer is turned off prior to initiating a charge cycle
- Check battery date code if the battery is older than one year it may need to be replaced
|
