Extech Instruments, a major supplier of test and measurement equipment for the industrial marketplace, announces its new CB10 AC Circuit Breaker Finder/Receptacle Tester. The CB10 employs a variable sensitivity adjustment to quickly and accurately pinpoint the correct 110V to 125VAC circuit breaker or fuse.  The CB10 is ideally suited for a range of applications, including locating branch circuit breakers without causing accidental power shutoffs, confirming proper wiring during electrical installation or repair, and testing receptacle ground fault operation.

Extech’s CB10 AC Circuit Breaker Finder features bright red and green LED’s to indicate if a receptacle is correctly wired as well as six different receptacle tests to identify open and reversed conditions. Other features of the CB10 include: push button GFCI testing, audible and visual circuit breaker indication and convenient base plug-in storage position for the transmitter/receptacle tester. The 8.5” x 1.5” x 2.25” CB10 is UL-listed and comes complete with a 9V battery for the receiver.
